All orders are custom fabricated and are generally ready to ship within 5-7 business days once the 48 hour cancellation period has passed, and may vary depending on the size and complexity of your individual order.

Orders are packaged on Saturdays and Sundays and will be shipped via Fed-Ex on Mondays and Tuesdays only, excluding holidays, to avoid peak fees. Delivery times vary from 2-7 days within the continental United States, and up to 10-12 days to Alaska, Hawaii, and parts of Canada. You will receive a Fed-Ex shipping notice and tracking number for your order via email from Fed-Ex and benchworkorders@modelrailwaytechniques.com once your order has been dropped off at the shipper.

Return Policy

In the unlikely event that you receive a damaged package, please document the damage to the outside and contents within and notify FedEx and Benchwork Support immediately. We will work to resolve the problem and have replacement parts shipped to you at no extra cost. Damaged or broken parts do not require return.

Since our products are custom made, we do not accept returns or exchanges unless there is an error in your order. In this case, please notify Benchwork Support and we will work to resolve the problem as quickly as possible. Model Railway Techniques will pay for the shipping of the new product or portions thereof and we will also pay for the shipping, if required, for the return of the incorrect product or parts you received.
