Licensed Woodshop Fabricator Program — Southeast Asia
A local manufacturing opportunity for capable woodshops and small manufacturers and solo wood workers
If you operate a well-equipped woodshop or small manufacturing business in Southeast Asia, this program offers a way to produce a repeatable flat-pack kit line for your local market—built around clear drawings, consistent assemblies, and minimum standards that protect quality.
We are The Model Railroad Benchwork Store / ModelRailwayTechniques.com (USA). We license qualified partners to manufacture and sell two product lines using our licensed plans and specifications:
- Benchwork / baseboard kits (simpler, typically no legs)
- Complete table kits (legs + bracing; higher value)
How Southeast Asia participation works
This program is issued country-by-country. Southeast Asia is a region, so your license must specify one country to start, such as:
- Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, etc.
You can expand into additional countries later with separate written addendums.
Why this can be a strong fit
Local production is a major advantage for bulky kit products. The right partner can:
- manufacture accurately and repeatably
- package for domestic shipping reliability
- offer pickup/delivery locally
- build trust through consistent quality and support
We prefer partners who can demonstrate strong QC practices and stable materials sourcing.
What you can sell (two product lines)
1) Benchwork / Baseboard Kits (recommended entry product)
Simpler, easier to standardize, and ideal for building confidence in production and packaging.
2) Complete Table Kits (added after proven success)
Higher value per order, more complex assemblies, best once your workflow is stable.
Suggested Southeast Asia launch plan
- Start with 6–10 baseboard/benchwork sizes
- Add 4–6 table kit sizes later
- Keep the initial SKU list tight for consistent quality and smoother fulfillment

This protects your reputation and the customer experience.

- CNC-capable shops (preferred, not required)
