Our new Single and Double Controller Drawers Kits provide a convenient under table location for placing your DCC or DC controllers that takes up minimal space and becomes an integral part of your Model Railroad benchwork.
Quality and Funtionality
Made entirely from birch plywood, they also feature rabbet grooves for the 1/4″ drawer bottoms for the ultimate in strength and ease of assembly. Our controller drawers also use 14″ full extension ball bearing drawer glides for smooth operation.
Add one to your new purchase, or you can even retrofit them to your existing benchwork in most cases. Assembling and installing one only takes about 30 minutes.
Single Controller Drawer inside widths are between 11-1/4″ to 14-3/4″ wide, and Double Controller Drawers are between 25-5/8″ to 30-3/8″. Actual width varies on the length of the benchwork, and for retrofit applications depends on your actual cross member spacing. They are designed for 3-1/2″ height clearance to the bottom of your benchwork, taller heights can be accommodated on request.
